What do you do when a random flood devastates your restaurant? Well, if you are a Las Vegas icon, you come out WINNING on a bold wager and fresh new brand. That is exactly what Planet Hollywood did after a leaking pipe turned into a deluge, quickly shutting down their Planet Dailies restaurant, casino floor and some Miracle Miles Shops in July 2017. The situation was quickly corrected and most of the property was operational within hours. Planet Dailies, however, remained closed for more extensive repairs.

WaitStuff Uniforms provides uniform solutions to hotels and restaurants across the country. Our projects range from coordinating staff with embroidered apparel to fully custom programs. Grand openings and re-branding are the daily challenges we thrive on. So, when we got the call from Planet Hollywood in late September 2017, we jumped at the opportunity.

The re-branding of Planet Dailies to Café Hollywood was major. The new uniform look was brought to us with very specific and unusual requirements, and a grand opening in less than six weeks! Six weeks is not enough time to design, sample and produce a fully custom uniform. We had to use all our experience and contacts to make this happen and get the look just right. Special details include, embroidered branding, custom epaulets, and custom trims. It came down to the last minute with our vendors and even our office staff sewing through the night and weekend, but we did it!

The result is fantastic. Here are some photos from our visit to the property on opening day. We asked the staff directly, how the new uniforms were working. They said they really loved the look and that the fit allowed them to move and work easily. The renovated restaurant is eye candy, the food is amazing, and the staff look beautiful!
